We often get attached to our favorite TV and movie character, sometimes with the actors too who play the roles. At times, we don’t get to know that our beloved fictional character has passed away in real life. So we have listed below some of the celebrities that are no more with us, and most probably you wouldn’t know about it.
Richard Griffiths
Richard Griffiths is most commonly known for his role in the Series of Harry Potter as the nasty uncle of Harry, named Mr. Dudley. He passed away at the age of 65 in 2013, breaking the hearts of Potter fans all over the world. Besides acting in Harry Potter, he was also an acclaimed stage actor and had won few awards too.
James Avery
Avery was famous for his work in legendary NBC television sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. James Avery passed away in the year 2013 after open-heart surgery. Avery died at the age of 68, and his fans and coworkers were shattered with the news.
Lisa Robin Kelly
Lisa Kelly started her career with acting in the show named The Legacy and Married with Children. Lisa got a huge fan base in a few years of her career, but unfortunately, her personal life troubled her a lot. She also passed in the year 2013.
Gary Coleman
The former actor had a big name in Hollywood and did a major role in Diff’rent Strokes. He passed away in 2010 by falling from stairs at his home itself. Coleman was 42 years old at the time of his death.
Carl Switzer
Most commonly known for his acting in Reg’ lar Fellers andOur Gang, the child actor couldn’t excel as well as he did in his younger roles. He was shot during a dispute over a dog and $50.
Rob Knox
Another Harry Potter’s beloved, Rob Knox, who played Marcus Belby, yielded to injuries inflicted by stabbing in a bar conflict. His family paid homage to their son by opening a talent academy for aspiring artists.
Thuy Trang
A Vietnamese actor Thuy Trang moved to the US and started her career as an actor. She had her first big role in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and also worked in Spy Hard. Thuy was killed in an unfortunate car accident in 2001. The age of Thuy at that time was only 21.
Harold Ramis
As most of you might know, Harold was the writer and actor in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. Harold also wrote as a freelancer for Chicago Daily News and became the editor of Playboy Magazine later on. Harold Ramis died in the year 2019 due to autoimmune disease.
Marcia Wallace
Marica Wallace is most known for her role in The Simpsons as Edna Krabappel, aka Bart’s teacher. The actress had also won an Emmy Award for her voiceover for “Bart the Lover” in a 1922 episode. Unfortunately, Wallace expired from pneumonia and sepsis at the age of 70 in 2013.
Dana Plato
Dana Plato was a famous name in the past for her role as Kimberly Drummond on the popular NBC sitcom, Diff’rent Strokes. The show ran for eight seasons and was a great hit. After the end of the show, Plato found it difficult to keep up with the pace. In 1999 she took away her own life at the age of 34.
Heather O’Rourke
The child artist Heather O’Rourke started her acting career in 1982 with a role in horror film Poltergeist. At a very young age, she won many awards and worked in 12 TV series. To everyone’s surprise, her life came to an end in 1988 due to a heart attack.
Taylor Negron
Taylor is known for his roles in sitcoms like Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2008. After battling with it for seven years, Negron passed away in 2015.
